LARGE PARTY? Our 2 condos, Tidelands and Tidelands 2, each sleep 6. They are on the same level at beautiful The Club at Mexico Beach. Perfect for groups that want to vacation together but may appreciate having their own space.
Best of all, the beach is *super close* and easy to get to - just cross the street! Then come back and enjoy the Large Pool & relaxing Hot Tub. There's something for everyone!
Both condos have long, covered Gulf-view balconies and Amenities Galore! Beach gear, fully-stocked kitchens, keurig coffee + cream and sugar, beach towels, FAST Wifi, Smart TVs in every room, washer & dryer, covered parking, elevator.
We think you'll be delighted to step into these beautiful properties and discover the COMFORT and CONVENIENCE features that make all the difference. Things like extra bath towels, comfy beds and pillows, blackout blinds for great sleep, USB ports at every bedside (including the bunk beds!). At Tidelands 1 and 2, you and your guests can truly decompress and focus on making memories!
The 2 condos are about 100 feet from each other, and both have easy access to the elevator and pool & hot tub area.
LOCATION. The Club is located midway through Mexico Beach and is walkable to local restaurants like Killer Seafood and the amazing Caribbean Coffee (their cinnamon rolls are a must-have!). Far from public parking and the canals, our section of beach stays uncrowded and has the clearest waters. You'll love our clean, white-sand beaches and epic SUNSETS. Read on below for activity suggestions. The whole area is fun to explore for lovers of beach time, nature, and good food.
TIDELANDS is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the front side of the building. The balcony directly faces the Gulf, so it's a perfect place to dine as the sun sets. It's beautiful inside and includes a desk area. It's approximately 1400 square feet.
TIDELANDS 2 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the southeast side of the building. Sun rise + coffee on the balcony with the sweeping Gulf view is so refreshing. This condo is super cute - guests love the decor and all the light. It's approximately 1150 square feet.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES - Our Favorites:
--Area rental companies drop off kayaks and stand-up paddle boards right at the beach.
--Go parasailing right from the beach!
--Hire a guide and spend half a day scalloping St. Joseph Bay. Really fun! Scallop season is Aug. 16 - Sep. 21.
--Kayak around Pig Island in St. Joseph Bay.
--Grab a beach towel and stargaze from the beach on a clear night.
--Go shelling on the nearly-empty beaches at the northwest side of town by the canal, then stop by Crazy Beach Pizza for some pizza & ice cream.
--For you craft beer lovers, don’t miss Apalachicola’s own Oyster City Brewing Co. Promise you’ll have really good beer, pet a pup, and make a new friend. Finish up with oysters, seafood, or burgers for dinner.
--Stop in for coffee and cinnamons rolls at Caribbean Coffee, then browse the nearby shops for a Mexico Beach souvenir.
--Go for a nature walk in St. Joseph State Park or the empty beach by the Stump Hole, both at nearby Cape San Blas.

1. Mexico Beach is a dog-free beach by city ordinance.
2. Though the condo is completely renovated and both the condo and balcony are ready for use, some *exterior* renovations of the building have not yet been completed since Hurricane Michael (railing paint, landscaping, etc.). Thanks for your patience!
1. Full names of all guests at booking. Only the guests listed by name at booking are permitted to stay in the property.
2. ID of guest making the booking. Either verified ID on booking platform (e.g., Airbnb) or screen shot of state-issued ID sent to host.
3. Guest must sign rental agreement.
4. Security Deposit of $600 is required. The deposit is secured using a temporary credit card hold beginning 1 day before check-in and is released 5 days after departure.
5. Guests must disclose which members of the party will be occupying each condo. Guests must commit to having at least 1 adult present with children age 17 and younger in each condo and that they will not be left unattended.
Check-out is at 10 am CST sharp, due to the tight schedule of our cleaners, unless you have arranged in advance with the host to have late check-out. Please respect the cleaners' limited time.
Cancellation policy is Moderate. **Recommend travel insurance.**
No smoking of any kind and no vaping, either inside condo or on balcony. Breaking this rule renders the reservation immediately canceled and guests subject to a $600 cleaning fee.
Parking: The building offers a covered parking garage, which is located on the ground level. Guests are allotted 2 parking passes, which should be displayed hanging from the rearview mirror. Per HOA rules, cars and pickup trucks are permitted, but large trucks, boats, trailers, and/or motor homes are not permitted in the parking garage.
No pets allowed. The HOA rules for this building prohibit all pets except pets of owners.
Visitors: Permitted during non-quiet hours of 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. All persons on premises during quiet hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and have not been disclosed at booking are unauthorized and are not permitted on premises without host approval.
Parties and events are prohibited. Parties/events are defined as including *any* of these elements:
1. More than 4 visitors without host permission
2. Alcohol usage by visitors
3. Drug usage by guests or their visitors
4. Noise level that is excessive or bothersome to other residents
Pool & hot tub: The guests acknowledge that there is no lifeguard on duty and that use of the pool and hot tub is at their own risk. Guest commits to supervising children under age 18 during use. Guests agree to abide by posted pool area hours.
Bunk beds: Weight limit for top bunk is 160 lbs.
Balcony: Guests agree to supervise children on the balcony. No climbing or standing on the furniture. The HOA rules prohibit cooking on the balcony or hanging anything from the railings, including towels.
Do not unplug or disable the Wifi or exterior entryway security camera.
Pirated media: Please do not stream copyrighted material from a site that does not have permission to stream it. Mediacom easily detects this activity and has threatened to cancel our service.
Beach towels and beach equipment (beach chairs, umbrellas, utility wagon, cooler) are for enjoyment during stay. Please return all items to condo before departure.
Please do not move or rearrange the furniture or electronic equipment without permission from host. Exception: dining chairs and stools.
Do not leave sliding doors open when A/C is running. The A/C will run continuously, causing ice to accumulate and shut down the unit. Payment for a service call may be assessed to the guest.
Sofas in living room: Cat naps are encouraged. :) However, planned sleeping, like overnight sleeping or a young child’s daily nap, is prohibited in order to ensure a sanitary environment for all guests. Please use the pull-out feature of the sleeper sofa instead.
The owner's closet, located in the front hallway and having a code-entry lock, is off-limits to guests without host's permission.
Per HOA requirements, please do not store any items in the hallway since it is a shared area.
Guests acknowledge that they are subject to immediate cancellation and payment of damage fees (if applicable) if any of the House Rules is broken. If you're not sure something is OK, please check with host. Thank you!
